I’ve been struggling to update my blog lately, mainly through lack of enthusiasm. Updating a blog is a bit like working. I have just had a few WhatsApp messages asking me how I am, (I am very well and enjoying myself by the way) so I have taken this as a hint to update the blog. My aim is 3 more posts on Thailand, then move onto Malaysia, where I am now.
In Hua Hin, I soon came to the conclusion that I preferred a more western style breakfast. Spicy first thing in a morning didn’t really work for me. There were quite a few options around with prices ranging from £6 in photo above, to £2 in photo below
Hua Hin has a good selection of western food, although I tried to stick to Thai food as much as possible. This was because it was more interesting to try, and also because it was cheaper. One of my favourites is Pad Krapow Gai (stir fried holy basil minced chicken) with a fried egg on top.

There were plenty of dining choices too, from high end sea food restaurants, to small bistro cafe’s, to street vendors at the night markets.

Sometimes you just have something that reminds you of home. Fish, chips, and mushy peas. And a pint of Goodness.
My favourite treat of all, after a long walk along the beach, a coffee and an ice cream, at the Top Seacret Cafe.
